With over three decades of leadership experience spanning the restaurant, healthcare, and marketing sectors, Dan brings a unique, cross-industry perspective to operational growth and team development.

For 15 years, Dan successfully owned and operated multiple KFC franchises, where he mastered the art of operational efficiency, scalable systems, and team leadership. Transitioning into the dental industry over a decade ago, he played a pivotal role in the expansion of Acre Wood Dental, transforming it from a small four-operatory office into a multi-location practice serving Central Texas.

Dr. Chad Latino brings his passion for excellence, lifelong learning, and commitment to service into every venture he touches—including as co-owner of Peak Performance VA. With a career rooted in high-quality, patient-centered dentistry, Dr. Latino has built a reputation for combining advanced technology with compassionate care at his Waco-based dental practice. He now channels that same drive into helping dental offices nationwide streamline operations and increase profitability through Peak Performance VA’s elite virtual assistant services.

A proud native Texan, Dr. Latino earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Known for his warm, no-lecture approach and dedication to treating patients like family, Dr. Latino has transformed countless smiles and dental experiences. His commitment to continual growth is evident in the nearly 100 hours of continuing education he completes annually—far exceeding state requirements—and includes advanced training through institutions like Orognathic Bioesthetics International, Cabodent, and the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry. He has also studied under industry legend Bill Blatchford.

Dr. Benjamin Johnson is a dedicated dental implant expert and lead advisor at Peak Performance VA, where he helps dental practices across the country streamline operations and improve patient care with skilled virtual assistants. Known for his warm, approachable style, Dr. Johnson combines advanced clinical expertise with a passion for patient education and personalized treatment.

His focus on clear communication and comfort ensures patients feel confident and cared for every step of the way. That same commitment to excellence drives his work at Peak Performance VA—where he plays a key role in selecting and mentoring virtual assistants who understand the unique needs of dental offices and become trusted extensions of their teams.

As Director of Operations at Peak Performance VA, Kristien Palmiano leads the day-to-day operations that ensure both our clients and virtual assistants are successful. Having been with Peak Performance VA for more than four years, she has played an instrumental role in building the systems, processes, and client experience that have helped the company grow into a trusted partner for dental practices across the country.

Kristien oversees client onboarding, client success, virtual assistant management, recruiting coordination, operational processes, and team leadership. She works closely with every department to ensure new clients transition smoothly, virtual assistants receive the support they need, and our internal team consistently delivers an exceptional experience. Her leadership allows practices to focus on caring for patients while knowing their administrative support is in capable hands.

Junelle Reyes is the Director of Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience at Peak Performance VA, where she leads the recruiting process from initial candidate evaluation through client interviews and successful placement. She oversees candidate sourcing, resume coordination, interview scheduling, client follow-up, and works closely with both applicants and dental practices to ensure every placement is the right fit.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and credentials as a Registered Psychometrician, Junelle brings a strong understanding of people, communication, and behavioral assessment to every interaction. Her professional background spans healthcare, recruitment, sales, graphic design, video production, and social media, giving her a unique blend of analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.

Ashtyne was hand-selected by Founder Dan Johnson and Co-Owner Dr. Chad Latino to lead Partnerships at Peak Performance VA. She's spent years working inside dental practices, not around them, as a dental assistant working chairside alongside dentists, in dental implant specialty sales, and running office administration. She's screened insurance, scheduled appointments, and handled the day-to-day admin work that either keeps a schedule full or lets it fall apart. That hands-on experience on both the clinical and administrative sides of a practice shapes how she talks with owners and office managers today.

As Director of Partnerships, Ashtyne is often the first person a practice speaks with at Peak Performance VA. She listens to what's actually slowing a team down and walks owners and office managers through how a virtual assistant fits their specific practice. She also builds relationships across the dental industry itself, connecting with other trusted businesses that serve dental practices to create a referral network that practices can rely on, a role built on trust in both directions.
